PPSN Chapters
CREATING A PPSN CHAPTER
1.The creation of a chapter must start with the placement of a Leadership team. The Leadership team comprise of a Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary. Descriptions of these three key positions are available when applying to create a new Chapter.
2.The Leadership team must locate a venue within which to hold monthly meetings. The PPSN must be notified of meeting details at least a fortnight in advance of meeting date for inclusion on the website.
3.New chapter name may be the same as existing organisation or network but should then be followed the words by “Chapter of the PPSN” or "PPSN Chapter".
4.Meeting attendance must be by invite only. The proposed attendee form must be completed at least two days prior to the actual meeting date in order to be mailed out to members 24 hours before the meeting.

6.The Leadership Team may select a community project to which members may volunteer their time and skills. If they are unable to select a project they may join with the projects of other Chapters.
7.The community project must be one which offers Education, Empowerment, Leadership or support to members of the Black community. This may be in the form of an existing charity , voluntary organisation or an event organised by PPSN Members themselves following the same criteria as stated.
8.Attendee details must be submitted by fax or email to the PPSN within 24 hours after the Chapter meeting to be updated on our records.
